Where should I stay?
Our ideal is to spend as much time together as we can, all in one place: Corazon Cabo. We have negotiated rates to as low as $275/night for the 3 days before and after the wedding (April 28-May 3). This hotel is gorgeous, boasts incredible views, and is situated right in the heart of the action downtown. It also happens to be a 15 minute walk from the Marina, and a 2 minute walk from the ceremony and reception at SUR Beach House!
If you'd like to stay at Corazon, we encourage you to book ASAP to secure the rate -- heads up, Corazon will charge you for 2 nights upfront as a deposit to secure the booking: Corazon special booking link
If looking elsewhere, all events are in downtown Cabo San Lucas, and there are plenty of other hotels and Airbnb options that will also be conveniently situated.
How long should I stay?
If you intend to join us for the welcome sail, we recommend flying in on the Wednesday and staying until Sunday. We’ll be in town from the Tuesday to the Sunday, and you’re more than welcome to join us for an extended vacation!
What should I bring?
Weather in this part of Mexico in May should be 80° (27°C) – dry and sunny during the day, with lows of 69° (21°C) at night. It can get a little windy, so a light coat or wrap could be the right move if you get chilly easily. Bring sunglasses, swimwear, and all the things you usually bring to a tropical vacation. Oh, and your mum says bring lots of sunscreen!
Are kids welcome?
While we adore your little ones, the welcome sail and the main event will be adults-only celebrations (with the exception of immediate family). If you would like assistance coordinating child care while in Cabo, please reach out, we’d be happy to help!
What do I wear?
For the sail, dress casual for exploring the beach, swimming, or snorkelling (T-shirts, shorts, sundresses, etc!) For the wedding, a colorful and festive beach formal outfit that you’d be comfortable doing the Nutbush in!
Huh? What’s this ‘Beach Formal’ business?
Beach formal = lighter fabrics, and a cooler experience on the dance floor! For the ladies, mid to full length cocktail or semi-formal dresses and comfortable sandals or heels. For the guys, think linens and cottons rather than wool suiting. Ties optional!
Do you have a registry?
Your presence is more than enough for us! Should you insist, here are the details.
